Happy Mother's Day

Hope Everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! Just wanted to pop in and tell you what's been happening here on the Field.

This year was a big year we had to break ground, excavate and bring in loom so that we could plant our dream.

The weather didn't cooperate with us so we were set back a few weeks which allowed us no time to plant a tulip crop but oh the vision I have for next season . We will be planting over 500 specialty Tulip bulbs in November!

Below are just a few varieties we will plant this fall!

Blue Parrot,

Huge flowers have ruffled petals that are an intense bright violet with hints of blue. As flowers open, they reveal purple interiors

‘Cummins’ The most uniquely colored tulip , this variety is a dusty lavender-mauve with creamy serrated edges

‘Creme Upstar’ Buttery flowers are brushed with light rose and apricot, giving blooms an iridescent quality. Color deepens as flowers age

La Belle Epoque’ Uniquely colored, this treasure has stunning, variable colored petals that change from a rosy-plum hue to a smoky peach-brown over time

For now I am patiently waiting for our Ranunculus and Anemone to bloom not to mention zinnia, Snapdragons, over 60 different varieties of Dahlias and so much more!
